Idaho Technology Student Association
The Technology Student Association (TSA) is the only student organization devoted exclusively to the needs of students interested in technology. Open to Idaho students enrolled in or who have completed Engineering Technology Education or related Technology courses. Idaho TSA is supported by educators, parents and business leaders who believe in the need for a technologically literate society. TSA chapters take the study of STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) beyond the classroom and give students the chance to pursue academic challenges, technology based career development events & leadership opportunities.

TSA National Affiliation
Idaho TSA chapters must affiliate with National TSA each school year in order to receive the updated rules and information about the changes in TSA. Affiliation should take place prior to September 30 each year in order that the chapter receives the necessary event updates for that year in plenty of time to prepare for the Idaho Spring Leadership Conference held each March.
There are three ways to affiliate with National TSA:
Red CAP Membership - Use this if your chapter has 10 members or less.
White CAP Membership - Use this if your chapter has between 11 and 15 members.
Blue CAP Membership - Use this if your chapter has 16 or more members. Under the Blue CAP Membership $350.00 may be utilized from PTE Added Cost Funds for purchase of the Total TSA CD Materials. Use Budget item Supplies and Materials on Form 10F.
Idaho Chapter Expectations
Idaho TSA chapters are expected to participate at the Annual TSA Fall Leadership Conference, Spring Leadership Conference and National TSA Leadership Conference. Chapter members should be involved in student recruitment, fund raising efforts and local community service projects in order that their chapter remains viable and sustainable from year to year.
