Kyle Nesbitt
State FFA Sentinel

Chapter: Weiser
Advisor: Stuart Nesbitt
School: University of Idaho
Major:
Agriculture Education
Career goal: Agriculture Teacher
SAEs: I showed steers and sheep at my local fair as well as owning a part of my family's flock of sheep. I also had the opportunity to work at an after-school program tutoring second graders and doing lessons in agriculture literacy.
Favorite CDE: Agronomy because of how much fun it is to be able to identify plants when I am working cattle at my Grandfather's ranch.
Activities outside of FFA: Church, Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity, and a ton of homework
Amazing agricultural fact:The United States has maintained a positive trade balance in agriculture for over 45 years!! Meaning that we send more food to other countries than we receive from them!

Role models: My father, Stuart Nesbitt, because he has taught me the importance of hard work and integrity.

Advice to FFA members: Listen to your Advisor. They want you to reach your potential and they are there to help you do so. Do everything that you can and immerse yourself with all the opportunities FFA provides you.
State officer goal: I want to develop a friendship with an an active FFA member in each district.
